What are the Squarespace pricing plans?

A clear breakdown of all Squarespace plans — Personal, Business, Basic Commerce, and Advanced Commerce — with recommendations for different business types.

Squarespace offers four plans with annual billing. The Personal plan at $16 per month is good for simple websites that do not need e-commerce or advanced features. You get a free custom domain for the first year, SSL, unlimited bandwidth, and basic website analytics. This plan works for portfolios, personal sites, and very simple business pages, but it does not support e-commerce or custom CSS injection.

The Business plan at $33 per month is the most popular for small businesses. It adds professional Gmail through Google Workspace, advanced analytics, promotional pop-ups and announcement bars, CSS and JavaScript code injection, and basic e-commerce with a 3 percent transaction fee. For most service businesses that want a professional website with a contact form, service pages, and a blog, this is the right plan.

The Commerce plans are for businesses that sell products. Basic Commerce at $36 per month removes the transaction fee, adds customer accounts, and includes checkout on your domain. Advanced Commerce at $65 per month adds abandoned cart recovery, subscription products, advanced shipping rules, and commerce APIs. If you are selling products online, the Basic Commerce plan is the minimum you should consider — the 3 percent transaction fee on the Business plan adds up quickly.
